Spears Manufacturing, headquartered in Sylmar, CA, has been a world leader in manufacturing and distributing plastic valves, fittings, and pipes since 1969. Due to our company's continued growth, we are currently looking for entry-level and experienced workers for our Caney, KS operations.

Entry-Level Operators

We are looking for applicants with a good team-oriented attitude, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No experience is necessary.

  • Material handling experience is a plus
  • Assembly line experience is a plus
  • Must be able to retain information

Experienced Machinists & Welders
  • Machinists must have a basic Injection Mold background or knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand tool drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to hold close tolerances of +/- .002” required
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
  • An understanding of cutting tool geometry

Warehouse Supervisor
  • Previous warehouse or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the IBM i Power System

Additional Information

While specific experience isn’t required, each position has qualities that will be helpful for potential candidates. We will train suitable candidates for entry-level and experienced machinist positions.

Compensation

Entry-level positions start at $15 per hour with differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts
